How to make Hello Kitty cake

If your little girl wants a Hello kitty cake for her next birthday

here is a short tutorial to make the pretty Hello kitty cake with winter theme.

Making a cardboard template.

Level the cake and put the templat on top of the cake.
Cut vertically through the cake around the edges of the template.

Cut two layers in the cake using the layer cutter and
sandwich back together using buttercream.

Spread a thin layer of buttercream all over the cake
to stick the sugarpaste(fondant)

Cover the cake completely with fondant and smooth
down and around the shape.

Use a food colouring pen to draw the outline of the
template on top of the cake.

Use the templates to cut out the different parts
of the hello kitty.

For the knitted texture, roll the quilting wheel over the
surface to mark double lines.

If your little one's birthday is near summer,
how about this cute polka dot dress hello kitty?
( oh, dear~ I forget to makes her whiskers ! )

Have a lovely weekend ~
